Abstract

 

This study aims to analyze the effect of the learning model Discovery  Learning on understanding mathematical concepts in class IV SD Negeri 3 Rejosari, South Lampung Regency. This research is a quantitative research by type pre- experimental design which uses form One-Group Pre-test Post-test. The population in this study were fourth grade students at SD Negeri 3 Rejosari, South Lampung Regency. Determination of the sample by using this type of technique saturated sampling. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results of the study are shown by the results of the t-test (paired t test) for the same sample with different treatments (pretest-posttest) of 5.248 greater than ttable 2.080 with a sig (2-tailed) level of 0.000 < 0.05. This proves that there is an influence of the learning model Discovery Learning on understanding mathematical concepts in class IV SD Negeri 3 Rejosari, South Lampung Regency.
