Pembentukan Karakter Religius Melalui Penerapan Pembiasaan Mengaji Sebelum Pembelajaran Di SMKN 1 Sumenep

This study aims to describe the formation of religious character through the implementation of habituation in reciting the Qur'an before learning activities at SMKN 1 Sumenep. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, conducted the Teaching Practice Program (PPL). The subjects of this study include students and teachers involved in the habituation activity. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the habituation of reciting the Qur'an before learning has a positive impact on the formation of students’ religious character, such as increased discipline, responsibility, and polite behavior. In addition, this activity also creates a more conducive and religious learning atmosphere. However, several obstacles were found, including differences in students’ ability to read the Qur'an and a lack of awareness among some students. Therefore, consistency in implementation and support from all school stakeholders are needed to ensure the program runs optimally and sustainably
