RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NURSES CARING AND PATIENT SATISFACTION LEVEL IN THE MELATI INPATIENT ROOM OF RAFLESIA HOSPITAL, BENGKULU CITY

One of the main reasons why caring affects patient satisfaction is because caring attitudes can increase patient comfort and security. The formulation of the problem is that there are still patients who are dissatisfied with the services in the Melati room of Raflesia Hospital, Bengkulu City. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between nurses' caring and patient satisfaction levels in the Melati inpatient room of Raflesia Hospital, Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive analytical approach and a cross-sectional design. The sample size was 95 people selected using purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square statistical test. The results showed that almost half (26.3%) stated that nurse caring was not good and almost half (30.5%) stated that they were dissatisfied. The results of the Chi-Square test showed a p value = 0.001, which means that there is a significant relationship between nurse caring and patient satisfaction in the Melati inpatient room of Rafesia Hospital, Bengkulu City. The conclusion is a significant relationship between nurse caring and patient satisfaction in the Melati inpatient room of Rafesia Hospital, Bengkulu City. It is recommended that the hospital, especially the Melati inpatient room, always carry out SOPs in every action.
