Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kepatuhan Minum Obat Pada Pasien TB Paru Kasus Baru Di RSUD Curup Tahun 2022

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is still a global health problem. One third of the world's population has been infected with TB where most TB sufferers are of productive age (15-55 years). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence drug adherence in patients with pulmonary TB in New Cases at RSUD Curup in 2022. The method in this study was quantitative, using descriptive analysis with a cross sectional approach. The sample in the study amounted to 31 respondents who were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. This study used the chi-square statistical test. The results of this study are almost 41.9% of respondents with high medication adherence, almost 45.2% of respondents have sufficient knowledge, most of 71% of respondents have family support, and most of respondents 74.2% with good motivation. . The results of the chi-square statistical test showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and adherence to medication in patients with pulmonary TB in new cases, there was a relationship between family support and adherence to taking medication in patients with pulmonary TB in new cases and a relationship between motivation and adherence to medication in patients with pulmonary TB in new cases at the RSUD Curup in 2022. The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the factors of knowledge, family support, and motivation related to the compliance of new cases of pulmonary TB patients in taking medication. Suggestions in this study are expected to respondents to continue to seek information about tuberculosis and get motivation and family support in participating in the pulmonary TB treatment program
