Peran Potensial Farmasis dalam Optimalisasi Terapi Pasien Long COVID-19: Tinjauan Literatur

Abstrak

Long COVID-19 merupakan sindrom pasca infeksi akut SARS-CoV-2 yang ditandai dengan gejala yang menetap selama berminggu-minggu atau bahkan berbulan-bulan setelah fase infeksi akut berakhir. Gejala yang umum meliputi kelelahan kronis, gangguan tidur, nyeri otot atau sendi, gangguan pernapasan, serta disfungsi kognitif seperti kesulitan berkonsentrasi dan kabut otak. Kondisi ini memberikan tantangan baru dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan, terutama dalam aspek manajemen jangka panjang. Meskipun demikian, peran farmasis klinis dalam tatalaksana pasien Long COVID-19 masih belum banyak dieksplorasi secara sistematis dalam berbagai studi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau peran strategis farmasis dalam pemantauan farmakoterapi, pemberian edukasi kepada pasien, serta keterlibatan dalam tim kolaboratif interprofesional guna meningkatkan luaran klinis dan kualitas hidup pasien. Metode narrative review digunakan dengan menelaah berbagai literatur ilmiah dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan, keterlibatan farmasis terbukti berkontribusi terhadap pengurangan efek samping obat, peningkatan kepatuhan pasien terhadap regimen terapi, serta mendukung proses rehabilitasi secara menyeluruh. Dengan demikian, peran farmasis menjadi semakin penting dan perlu diintegrasikan dalam sistem layanan kesehatan untuk mendukung pemulihan pasien Long COVID-19 secara berkelanjutan.
