About the Journal

Bengkulu Health Journal (BHJ) publishes peer-reviewed original research papers across the full spectrum of nutritional science covering all aspects of experimental nutrition in humans and other fields such as food technology, food services, and dietetics; special articles such as reviews and biographies of prominent nutrition scientists; and controversial issues in nutrition. In addition, supplements are frequently released to analyze special-interest issues in-depth.

All publications submitted to the journal should have as their primary objective the advancement of knowledge in nutritional science pertinent to human or animal nutrition. Bengkulu Health Journal (BHJ) invites submissions that present research on nutritional epidemiology, dietary requirements, metabolic investigations, body composition, energetics, appetite, stunting, wasting, and obesity. Bengkulu Health Journal (BHJ) also accepts manuscripts that investigate interactions of nutrition with endocrinology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, and cell biology that describe outcomes important to health, behavior, and well-being.

All articles/manuscripts submitted must follow the focus and scope mentioned above. The manuscript submission process, review, editing & layout, and proofreading will be done online using OJS.
